Reubeus Hagrid and 'pet' - I really wanted to draw a picture of Hagrid, but the adult version of him proved very difficult to capture. So I opted for Young Hagrid, shown with Young Aragog. Update: original sketchWhy I kept it: I love the coloring and shading!
Ginny Weasley - This probably isn't the most flattering portrayal of Miss Weasley, but I just had this inspiration to draw her possessed by Tom Riddle. Scanned/ Painter Classic watercolors. Why I kept it: I liked the concept and way the drawing came out.
Fat Friar - The Hufflepuff mascot, he always seemed cheerful for a ghost... Why I kept it: I got several replies on the oekaki board for this, and ghosts just seem to turn out better than my other works...
Rita Skeeter - Done on oekaki; she doesn't look very ugly, though, and she's wearing green, which confused some into thinking she was McGonagall... Why I kept it: I really like how this turned out - I was fooling around with tones, and it just popped out!
Cho holding a Snitch - Just Cho holding on to a Snitch, and I guess there's a wind blowing - apparently Cho's hair is longer than I've been drawing it, so if I draw her again, I'll correct that. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: The sketch itself looked so cool...
Poppy Pomfrey - That's Pepper-up potion she's trying to force on you. I thought I'd have a go at perspectives... Why I kept it: I like the perspective, tones, and Pomfrey's 'mature adult woman' face.
Ginny Weasley as Seeker - Ginny apparently has the mad skills to be a Seeker when Harry is indisposed now. Scan/ Adobe Photoshop LE. Why I kept it: I think this picture of her in Gryffindor robes is kinda cute, and it's good, solid work.
Angelina Johnson as Captain - Inspired by the fifth book, Angelina now also has braids. Eh, I forgot to give her gloves, but maybe she's just practicing? Scan/ Adobe Photoshop LE. Why I kept it: It's a good, solid drawing and shading.
Cheering Ron - Ron's cheering for his beloved Chudley Cannons; note the shirt. I traced the original scan with the Sargent Brush tool; PainterClassic. Why I kept it: I kind of like the results - he resembles a paper cutout. And it's Ron!
The Many Faces of Nymphadora Tonks - Based on this conceptual sketch, I also made an animation of all of Tonks' faces mentioned in the fifth book. Scan/Paint Shop Pro/ Ani-gif. Why I kept it: Hey, that animation took a lot of work!
