Nymphadora Tonks - Since she tends to change her hair throughout the book, I went to the trouble of finding a gif animation program to make this. Scan/Paint Shop Pro/ Ani-gif. Why I kept it: Gifs are hard to make; she looks a little too masculine, though.
Harry Potter - A companion picture with Hermione and Ron. For some reason, I put Harry in old Dudley-style clothes. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: It's fairly in proportion, and I like the coloring and surly expression, as well as the bulky shirt.
Krum with snitch - A profile of Krum that hopefully makes him look 17 and not 45. Not completely colored to preserve sketchiness. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: I like the profile, and hopefully it makes him look young but contemplative and rugged.
Fred, George, and Lee - From when they're pitching snackboxes that induce vomiting. Originally I just had the twins and then remembered Lee was also involved Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: It turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
Draco Malfoy - Inspired by creative elements from the movie, such as the Quidditch uniforms and Draco's evil Pat Riley hair. Painter Classic, no surprises. Why I kept it: While a bit off, the drawing is fairly solid.
Prefects Ernie MacMillan and Hannah Abbot - The Hufflepuff prefects in Harry's year. I thought Justin Finch-Fletchley would be one - he did get into Eton. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: The drawing and coloring look pretty good.
Irma Pince - A sort of back-to-school dealie with everyone's favorite stern librarian. Why I kept it: I really liked the drawing and sort of liked the coloring, plus it's one of those rare occasions where I drew a detailed background.
Cedric and Cho - A picture of Cho and Cedric after the Second Task in Goblet of Fire - a semi-romantic moment. Scan/PainterClassic.Why I kept it: One of my first scanned pieces, I like the drawing and soft coloring; it evokes a cozy mood.
Hufflepuffs - First row: Fat Friar, Prof. Sprout, badger, Cedric Diggory. Bottom Row: Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernie McMillan, Hannah Abbot, Susan Bones, Eloise Midgen. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: Mostly because of the Friar and Sprout.
Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs - c.1960s, in Sgt. Pepper uniforms: James (John Lennon), Peter (Ringo Starr), Sirius (Paul McCartney), and Remus (George Harrison). Why I kept it: I got watercolor to work well. And it's the Beatles!
