Dennis Creevey - He''s known for only one thing, but it's such a cute thing! A hasty sketch I tossed off to vent having the Bloody Baron not work out. Why I kept it: It's cute, and I like the soft drawing style...
Mrs. Weasley - A lot of people were having birthdays that week, so I drew this picture of Mrs. Weasley with a birthday cake. Why I kept it: I like how the drawing turned out, if not the tone work.
Three Hogwarts cuties - Because Marcus Flint, Oliver Wood, and Percy Weasley were the same year and the actors who're going to play them don't look bad, either. ^^ Why I kept it: I love the coloring, especially the eyes. The drawing's marginal...
Slytherin enforcers - A picture of the heavies of Slytherin - Crabbe, Goyle, and Millicent Bulstrode (and her cat). Why I kept it: I worked on it a lot, and it was well-reviewed, even though I don't personally like it. Who knew?
Zacharias Smith and Susan Bones - I tried to make Zacharias look skeptical and Susan Bones as described in the book. Early sketch of Susan with Ron. Scan/Adobe Photoshop LE/ Painter Classic. Why I kept it: It looks OK, and the hands are accurate.
Ginny with Tom Riddle's diary - Ginny, communicating with Tom. I tried to use shadowing to give her a bit of a gaunt effect, and also did a lot of gradients, going I guess for the spooky angle. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: It looks OK...
Argus Filch and Mrs. Norris - One of the characters that was really cool in the movie, with hilarious lines. Painter Classic. Why I kept it: For a hastily tossed-ff sketch, it looks pretty good, and Filch is now on my cool list, and Mrs. Norris, too.
Bill Weasley - Based on when he was hanging out in Sirius Black's basement (not as fun as it sounds). Scan/Painter Classic. Why I kept it: Bill's one of my favorite Weasleys, and this sketch turned out fairly decent.
Prof. Quirrel - I scanned in this and tried my hand at Painter Classic's colored pencils, due to a deficit of villains. The turban is supposed to be unraveling and making him look all sinister and such. Why I kept it: I like the drawing concept...
Cornelius Fudge - Drawn mostly because I needed to try out Painter Classic's wet-on-wet watercolor function. I'm personally indifferent about him, but he turned into a real jerk near the end of Goblet of Fire, didn't he? Why I kept it: It looks pretty decent.
