Penelope Clearwater - It's the mysterious Penelope Clearwater - is she evil? Does she still go out with Percy? Does she even still exist? Done with Painter Classic. Why I kept it: She looks pretty good, and the Percy thought bubble is kinda amusing.
Roger and Fleur at Yule Ball - Fleur in her satin grey formal robes with Roger at the Yule Ball - I used airbrush combined with light pencil strokes . PainterClassic. Why I kept it: It has a romantic and dreamy effect I like.
Gilderoy Lockheart - Drawn because the original Lockheart pic looks like crap, and he is one of my favorite semi-evil characters. Scan/ Adobe Photoshop LE. Why I kept it: He's a fave character, and I did a much better job this time.
Sassy Ginny - Gosh, Ginny's character took a 180-degree turn in Book 5. Now she's daring and plays pranks and has turned into Fred-and-George lite! Less sassy draft. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: The hand holding the dungbomb, and shading.
Chamber of Secrets-era tiles - Characters from the 1940s Potter era - even though Grindewald was mentioned in the first book. Scan/PainterClassic. Myrtle - Grindewald - HagridWhy I kept it: It's my favorite historical periods of the Potter era.
Terry Boot - Here is the only Ravenclaw guy Harry's age we've heard of so far. They must barely be able to field that Quidditch team. Painter Classic. Why I kept it: It's a cute character design that holds up well, and I like the marker-style coloring.
Chaser Roger - Roger Davies, and my attempt at him in action and in perspective. Scanned, and colored in with Painter Classic. Why I kept it: Again, I like the attempt at perspective and the coloring, particularly the Quaffle.
Sir Patrick - It's the ghost that's in charge of the Headless Hunt! I used effects similar to the Gray Lady. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: I drew an adult male's head well after some practice - whoo! And ghost drawings usually turn out well.
Prof. McGonagall profile - Something I doodled that looked fairly decent. I tried to make her look more advanced in age. Scan/PainterClassic. Why I kept it: It's a good drawing, capturing a hint of fifth book mischeivousness, and the coloring is unique.
Prof. Amando Dippet - A spotlight on the Head of Hogwarts before Dumbledore took over. Here he is in his scene with Tom Riddle. Done on oekaki w/ mouse, lots of tone usage. Why I kept it: The tone usage, and Dippet, 'cause Tom looks like ass.
