Neville and Trevor again (12/6) - Ah, I finally got around to drawing an improved Neville, inspired mostly from new dimensions of his character in the fifth book. Hopefully he looks a little more noble. Poor Trevor didn't come out as well - sorry, sweetie! Scan/PainterClassic.
Prof. McGonagall profile (12/6) - Not really necessary to add, but something I doodled with all the other recent Potter art I've put up that looked fairly decent, so here it is. I tried to make her look more advanced in age. Scan/PainterClassic.
Ron, Harry and Hermione in red (12/6) - This was drawn as yet another picture of our happy trio, but ended up being all red and yellow when I colored it in - I knew Ron's Weasley sweater was maroon, and it just ballooned from there. Scan/PainterClassic.
Krum playing Seeker (12/13) - Well, the good news is that I think this is the last sketch of Krum I've scanned in. I botched this a bit coloring it in - it looks a bit worse than the untouched sketch. The additional face is a draft I did of Krum, although he looks too old. Scan/PainterClassic.
Post-exam teens tiles (12/13) - Taken from sketches I had of Harry's dad and Snape when they were fifteen; the scenes are cribbed from that chapter in the fifth book. The sketches turned out surprisingly good, and even transferred well using inks and watercolors. Scan/PainterClassic.
Prefects Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger (12/13) - The Gryffindor prefects in Harry's year, heh. This was fun to try because I worked to make Ron look as unenthusiastic as possible (by slouching), while Hermione is chipper and ready. I blotched red while watercoloring in, and decided to run with it. I think it looks kinda cool. Scan/PainterClassic.
Cho holding a Snitch (12/13) - A nice little sketch I wanted to preserve as much as possible. Just Cho holding on to a Snitch, and I guess there's a wind blowing - apparently Cho's hair is longer than I've been drawing it, so if I draw her again, I'll correct that. Scan/PainterClassic.
Nervous Nick (2/29) - I wasn't planning on drawing Nick again, but his scene near the end of the fifth book was very affecting - it gave his character a lot of depth, so I drew his nervousness when Harry asks him about Sirius Black. Scan/Paint Shop Pro.
Percy Weasley (2/29) - I don't think I had a solo picture of Percy, so here's one. I figured he would be the sort of person to show off that he's in the Ministry of Magic, so I gave him an ID badge to flash. I just love the smug expression. Circa Books 4 and 5. Scan/Paint Shop Pro.
Nymphadora Tonks (2/29) - The wacky next-door-neighbor, I mean Auror, in the fifth book. I had the hardest time deciding how to draw the spikes, and I still think she looks a little too masculine, but it looks okay. Since she tends to change her hair throughout the book, I went to the trouble of finding a gif animation program to make this. Scan/Paint Shop Pro/ Ani-gif.
