Foreign exchange students (9/28) - A drawing that turned out nicely of Viktor and Fleur. I just like the flowing sketchiness of it all, and the way Krum's face turned out, and the fact that everything looks in proportion. Scan/PainterClassic.
The Trio (9/28) - I actually have another couple of pictures of our favorite three together, but I put this one up first. They're all rather grim and look kinda surly in this one, and I don't know where Harry's robes went to again. Scan/PainterClassic.
Surly Hermione (10/11) - I tried Sargent Brush on this one, too; it doesn't look half bad and everything seems to be in proportion. I might feel inspired to do more Harry Potter stuff closer to the movie, but who knows? Scan/PainterClassic.
The Grey Lady (10/12) - Finally did the ghost of Ravenclaw House for this site's front image. I kind of like how it turned out, especially since I didn't use an oekaki and couldn't get my usual 'ghost effect'. PainterClassic.
Sassy Ginny (9/28) - Gosh, Ginny's character took a 180-degree turn in Book 5. Now she's daring and plays pranks and has turned into Fred-and-George lite! Don't really buy it myself, but whatever. Original, less sassy draft. Scan/PainterClassic.
Tom Riddle with diary (9/28) - A fairly nice drawing I tried to color in with mixed results. The hands look fairly good, though, and that's usually my weakness. Some more Riddle sketches can be found here. Scan/PainterClassic.
Krum flying (9/28) - Originally fanon art, but it can also go here - it's basically just Krum out for an early morning flight on his broom, looking thoughtful. I drew him in a Quidditch team uniform. Scan/PainterClassic.
Sir Patrick (9/28) - Everyone remembers Sir Patrick, the ghost that's in charge of the Headless Hunt! He put down Nearly Headless Nick a bit in Book 2, as you recall. I used effects similar to the Gray Lady for the current front image. Scan/PainterClassic.
Ron and Padma at Yule Ball (10/19) - Ron and Padma from the Yule Ball - Ron in mangled robes and Padma in a surly expression. I like the gradient use with Padma's outfit. Not much else to say. Scan/PainterClassic.
Roger and Fleur at Yule Ball (10/19) - Fleur in her satin grey formal robes and with Roger at the Yule Ball - like an OC Yule pic I did awhile back, I used airbrush combined with light pencil strokes for a romantic and dreamy effect. PainterClassic.
