Fleur and sister (4/8) - My first ever oekaki, and it shows; I'm keeping it for posterity's sake, but yuck... It's Fleur Delacouer and her sister Gabrielle after the Second Task; the only time in GoF I wasn't annoyed with her, because her concern was very sweet...
Neville and his pet (4/11) - My second ever oekaki, and boy, does it show; so hideous... I think I was experimenting with the tones on poor Neville Longbottom and Trevor; I'll make it up to them one day, I promise!
Lavendar Brown (5/2) - Everyone's favorite Divination obsessor! People seem to have it out for her, but I kinda like her loopiness. Probably because of her last name, I pictured her as a brunette, and gave her an outfit that was, well, lavender. Teehee.
Tom Riddle (5/2) - Done on a Japanese oekaki I stumbled onto; also my first shot at monochromatics. I kinda like how it turned out, except for where he's spelling out his name - I can't write with a mouse to save my life...
Gilderoy Lockheart and his book (5/2) - My first positive feedback oekaki (from the webmaster)! I'm pretty happy I captured Lockheart's essence, but the teeth bother me - I could have put more lines in. Note the copy of Magical Me with his face on the cover!
Rita Skeeter (4/27) - Done on a Digimon oekaki; I really like how this turned out - I was fooling around with tones, and it just popped out! She doesn't look very ugly, though, and she's wearing green, which confused some into thinking she was McGonagall...
Professor Sprout (5/1) - I wasn't too thrilled how this turned out, but oddly the webmaster liked it, or something... Apparently she has gray hair, which I didn't know at the time; whoops. Still, I did a pretty good coloring job.
Eloise Midgen (5/5) - Teehee! I was watching a Noczema commercial and remembered poor Eloise, who tried to magic off her acne in GoF but got her nose off-center instead. I settled on a before pic, and really like my tone use here!
Ludo Bagman (5/11) - The similarities between him and Lockheart are scary; I had to try hard not to draw them alike. My first time trying out watercolor and designing Quidditch uniforms. Results are OK; I gave Bagman 'Orphan Annie' eyes for some reason...
Pansy Parkinson (5/13) - She's incredibly annoying, but her weak spot seems to be Draco - she's always simpering when he's around. He doesn't seem to return the feeling, though, and hence, this picture. Mixing watercolor and paint has a pleasing effect...
These are illustrations placed in the order they were drawn. So far they are of minor Harry Potter characters - one day I'll draw the dream team, but not just now. If you want further comments, mouse over the thumbnails. Try art search if you're looking for a specific character.
