Viktor Krum (1/20) - A moody Krum, with one eye on Hermione and her little friends in the Great Hall. The student on his right is a little bit of Pashnik. Painter Classic, watercolors.
Pashnik and Edina (1/31) - Krum's fellow Durmstrang classmates; I originally wanted to do a shot of them to go with 'Watching Viktor', but it wasn't working, so I threw this out. I think it captures their personalities pretty well... Painter Classic, airbrush.
Fred and Angelina (2/16) - Here are Fred and Angelina in their regular school clothes (bottom) and Yule Ball outfits (top). The lower picture doesn't really have much to do with the story; it's just a generic Fred/ Angelina doodle. Scanned/ Painter Classic, solids.
Roger and Katie (2/22) - Yeah, I know what the title says, but the part that keeps me reading is the 'unresolved tension' between Roger Davies and Katie Bell. The writer gave Roger a very odd personality, or maybe I think so because I'm hardwired into Lilith True's Roger. I mean, he wears an earring! Odd! Scanned/ Painter Classic, colored pencils.
Angelina w/ Quaffle (2/22) - If I hadn't drawn her in her Yule Ball gown, this would have been an ideal picture for the canon page; but a picture's a picture, and I'm cool with it. Scanned/ Painter Classic, thick colored pencils.
Oliver and Emma (3/3) - Here's the main coupling, Oliver Wood and the obligatory OC - I think her name's Emma something or other. She's a beater for Ravenclaw and has all this intrigue and mystery surrounding her, just barely toeing the Mary Sue line. Their relationship, which was OK at first, has gotten pretty gooey lately, so I did a comic version with Angelina making a commentary...
Sad Fred and Angelina (3/31) - This is actually from a different fanfic, but it's by alphabet also and I don't recall the title, so I'll put it here for now. Angelina trying to comfort Fred, done using some previously unused Painter Classic artists tools.
Edina (3/31) - A simple picture of Edina, from the scene where she's forcing sausages on Krum... Scan/Painter Classic, Impressionist.
Fluke Astley and Tom Riddle (10/12) - A story I read a long time ago that I really liked and finally drew a picture for. I especially liked the author's portrayal of the future Voldemort and that the story ended the way I expected any 'romance' with Tom Riddle would. Scanned/ Painter Classic, watercolors.
Fluke and Tom, again (10/12) - This was just a scene where Tom compliments Fluke on her drawing skills; I used the opportunity to work on my proportions, because they were really off in the original scan. The effect isn't bad. Scanned/ Painter Classic, pencil/ink/watercolor.
One more Fluke and Tom (9/28) - This time I have Fluke drawing as well as a picture of her showing the work to one Tom Riddle. I'm a little out of practice shading Quidditch robes. Scanned/ Painter Classic, ink/solids.
Thoughtful Krum (9/28) - A scene where Krum, with a lot on his mind, goes out to fly his broom in the early morning, reaching out to touch the grass. It was tough getting a good sky effect. Scan/Painter Classic, colored pencils and watercolor.
More Roger and Katie (7/24) - While cleaning out the files, I found these extra pics of my fave coupling in the story, and decided to go ahead and color them fully. I tried penciling with Photoshop and then watercolor with Painter Classic. Scan/ Adobe Photoshop LE/ Painter Classic, watercolor and pencil.
Misc.
~ I think this story was in sugarquill, where Ron, Harry and Hermione meet for the first time ... in a toy store, when they're little kids.
~ I think this is in sugarquill somewhere too, one of those summer-after-the-fourth-book tales where Hermione is spending the summer at the Weasleys'. In this one, Charlie and Percy give Ron and Hermione relationship advice.
