Huh, I had just finished drawing that Neo Queen Kari on Kaizer Yamato's board, and someone actually asked me to draw something for them - my first oekaki request (sniff!). I worked really hard on it, and in the end decided to leave TK's hat out because it was too hard to draw. I liked it. Kaizer Yamato's, basic.
Lee sitting with gijinkas Terriermon and Calumon - requested by Nionel, 6/9
Fresh off a Harry Potter oekaki bender, I wanted to do something cute and summery, hence this. I'm indifferent about the results; it's not that bad, but it doesn't match what was in my head. Kaizer Yamato's, basic.
Wargreymon and BlackWargreymon in an eating contest - requested by Cosmo23, Memorial Day
It involved drawing very complex Digimon, so I prepared like I did like the last request: research, and lots of pre-sketches. Then I spent like 4 hours on the oekaki carefully adding and erasing. But it was worth it; the first time I got multiple positive responses on an oekaki bbs. Yay! Cosmo23 liked it, too... Kaizer Yamato's, basic.
Calumon glomping Malomyotismon - requested by LurkerLordX, 5/15
I approached this like the challenge above; the idea was so bizarre I had to try it, and I've had some good experience with Calumon (sadly, before I started saving these things), so I knocked this out after several trial doodles. I guess he liked it... Kaizer Yamato's, basic.
Gijinka Digitamamon - requested by JinjoEagle302, 5/13
This was more of a challenge, so I gave it the college try... I had the most trouble figuring out what to do about the face and arms - in the end, I gave him arms, but tucked them inside the shell, and left the face open. Kaizer Yamato's, basic. Draft.
TK, Patamon, Henry, and Terriermon as friends - requested by FrEaKy AnDy, 5/2/2001
My first, and most influential request; in order to post it, I had to get this webspace and an ezboard account, so if I hadn't done it, who knows. Don't think the poster liked it much, because he asked if anyone else could do better... Oh well... I agree it doesn't look great, but it's not bad for my first shot at these characters... Kaizer Yamato's, basic oekaki.
Mimi and butterfly - requested by izzy007, 10/5
I put a lot of effort into this one for something that wasn't a Wick pic. The poster wanted one serious picture of Mimi singing in a gazebo with a butterfly and a beach background, and a comical one. This was a great opportunity to practice Painter Classic CG'ing and tracing. Painter Classic, airbrush or solids.
Terriermon talking to a dog - requested by TerriermonJS, 10/13
Did this because the idea sounded so cute, and I could use the practice drawing Digimon. This is more of a sketchy thing I colored using watercolor. I intentionally made it look hasty and a bit sloppy; I've been experimenting with Painter Classic a lot... Painter Classic, watercolors.
